Sample Homogenization Beads, 50 Tubes

Features
Zirconia/Silica, Zirconia and Chrome-Steel beads for grinding, homogenizing, and disintegrating of biological samples (bacterial cells, mammalian tissues, plants tissues, etc.) using a Bead Mill.
Beads are conveniently prefilled in self-standing 2 mL or 5 mL screw-on cap tubes.
Zirconia / Silica beads have higher density (3.7 g/cc) compared to standard Glass beads. This allows for a more efficient disruption of biological samples.
 
Applications
Efficient homogenization / disruption of bacteria, yeast, fungi, plant tissue, animal tissue using a bead mill apparatus.
